We are really happy to welcome 14 new projects to the SPARK-BIH program.
For the seventh consecutive year, the SPARK-BIH funding and mentoring program motivated many scientists and clinicians from Charité and BIH to submit their translational project proposals in the fields of pharma, preventives, diagnostics and medtech.
The applicants presented their proposals to an external expert jury, which selected 14 outstanding projects to join the SPARK-BIH program. These new teams will receive milestone-based funding over a period of up to two years as well as mentoring and access to an international network of advisors. Dr. Tanja Rosenmund, the director of SPARK-BIH, and her team will accompany the teams in their next steps towards translation.
The SPARK-BIH team thanks all applicants and reviewers who took part in our 2024 Call and pitch session, which took place last September and was hosted by the CBI in Berlin. It was great to learn about outstanding translational projects and the people behind them.
