On November 15th, SPARK-BIH welcomed this year's cohort with a kickoff event that brought together new and seasoned SPARKees, advisors, and key support units from the Charité-BIH community. The event aimed to foster collaborations and provide a first glance at the available resources and the SPARK-BIH program. Representatives from relevant support units, including the team of IP and Licensing from Charité BIH Innovation, the Regulatory Support Unit, and Ascenion GmbH, presented their services, highlighting how they can assist in advancing translational projects.
During the event, four promising SPARK teams had the opportunity to pitch their innovative projects to an engaged audience. Each team outlined their goals, methodologies, and the potential impact of their amazing work. The audience had the chance to ask questions and provide feedback. These pitches showcased a diverse range of translational projects, from cutting-edge medical technologies to groundbreaking therapeutic approaches.
The welcome event concluded with a networking session, providing an invaluable opportunity to get to know other innovators, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations. This event not only marked the beginning of an exciting journey for new SPARKees but also underscored SPARK-BIH's commitment to supporting the advancement of translational research by facilitating collaborations.
